May 30, NEW YORK, NY – Illustrator Andrew C. Robinson was announced as the winner of the The National Cartoonists Society "Best Graphic Novel" Reuben Award for the New York Times #1 Best-Selling graphic novel, “The Fifth Beatle: The Brian Epstein Story.” The announcement was made on Sunday, May 25, during an awards ceremony in San Diego.

On the heels of Robinson’s win, the author of “The Fifth Beatle”, Vivek J. Tiwary, will speak at TEDxFultonStreet’s inaugural event on June 10, 2014, at Pace University’s Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts. The event will bring together a mix of entrepreneurs, technologists, artists, architects, thinkers, dreamers, scientists, and doers – creative individuals that seek inspiration from an immersive and cross-disciplinary experience. Tiwary will be presenting on the story of Brian Epstein, the visionary manager who discovered and guided the Beatles to unprecedented international stardom. THE FIFTH BEATLE film adaptation, written and produced by Tiwary, has Peyton Reed (BRING IT ON, THE BREAK-UP) signed on to direct and Academy Award-winner Bruce Cohen (AMERICAN BEAUTY, SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK) is attached as producer as well. The process of casting the lead role of Brian Epstein is currently underway.

"I'm honored and excited to speak at TEDxFultonSteet, where I'll share the secrets of my discovery of Beatles' manager Brian Epstein's inspiring life story," Tiwary said. "I hope that my audience will walk away filled with the confidence required to chase and realize their most impossible dreams."

TEDxFultonStreet attendees will hear from over 25 thought leaders who have each changed the world, in the area(s) of technology, entertainment, or design. These creatively inspired individuals will talk about how their innovations came to be, their research, or their visions for the future. The day will consist of four segments: from Fantasy to Reality; from Private to Public; from Analog to Digital; and from Out of the Blue.
