Toronto, ON - March 20, 2014 – The brand new Canadian comedy web series, The Amazing Gayl

Pile (gaylpile.com), will debut this April on JASH, a YouTube premium comedy channel founded by

comedy luminaries Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera, Tim & Eric and Reggie Watts.

JASH co-founder Daniel Kellison (The Man Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live) is enthusiastic about the

partnership: "This show is brilliant, weird and funny in that special way only Canadians seem to know how

to make. Here's hoping we can do many more with [series creators] Morgan and Brooks… and we hope

everyone else loves it as much as we do."

The Amazing Gayl Pile is a twisted comedy series about one man's misguided quest to conquer the

world of home shopping.

The series marks the first follow-up collaboration from the creative team behind the IFC rockumentary

series Cock'd Gunns, which won Gemini Awards for "Best Writing In A Comedy Series" and "Best

Ensemble Cast In A Comedy Series". The series stars Morgan Waters (host of the Gemini-winning

CBC sketch series The Morgan Waters Show), Brooks Gray, Andy King, Inessa Frantowski and Leo

Scherman, and was created and written by Morgan Waters and Brooks Gray.

Says co-creator Brooks Gray: "The world is long overdue for an exposé of the rampant sex, violence and

spiritual corruption that goes on behind the scenes in the world of home shopping."

The Amazing Gayl Pile is produced by LaRue Entertainment, headed by Matt King and Andrew

Ferguson. King said of the JASH deal, "We are thrilled to be partnering with JASH for the release of The

Amazing Gayl Pile. We are huge fans of their brand of comedy and their creator-driven spirit. As Gayl

would say, it's a 'steal of a deal' for everyone involved."

The Amazing Gayl Pile (gaylpile.com) was largely funded by the Independent Production Fund.

JASH – a comedy collective on YouTube – launched at the 2013 SXSW Festival and is led by comedy

producer Daniel Kellison, along with fellow producers Doug DeLuca and Mickey Meyer. JASH features

original content created by partners Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera, Tim Heidecker and Eric

Wareheim and Reggie Watts – along with their comedic friends. Within the JASH network are the Buh

and Video Podcast Network channels, which includes content from Paul Scheer, Norm Macdonald,

Adam Carolla, The Earwolf Network and more.

JASH gives comedians and artists a platform to create and control their own digital content. JASH attracts

top-tier talent by providing them with the financing, production resources, editing facilities and personnel

to create quality online videos. All collaborating partners are given complete autonomy to make short

films, sketches, series, one-offs, talk-shows, animation and music videos. The goal of JASH is to gather

the most distinct and brightest talent to form a comedy artists’ collective.
