Disney•Pixar’s Inside Out Passes $500M Globally


Disney•Pixar’s Inside Out crossed the $500M mark at the global box office on Tuesday and stands at $510.1M through July 22. This is Pixar’s eighth consecutive film to reach this threshold and its 11th overall. It’s also Disney’s third release of 2015 to do so.


With $311.5M domestically, Inside Out is the third highest grossing Pixar film ever. Internationally, it is open in 61% of the marketplace and has earned $198.6M. Major markets still to come include the UK, opening this weekend, as well as Germany and Italy.


The film debuted in the US and Canada on June 19 with $90.4M, the biggest opening ever for an original property.
