Erik Anders Lang and Ryland Aldrich Form New Production Company Producing Original Content


LOS ANGELES (September 10, 2015) - Director and TV personality Erik Anders Lang and ProducerRyland Aldrich announced today their founding of Pictures, Pictures. a new production company to focus on feature films, long-form documentary series, short-form commercials, and branded content.


Based in Los Angeles, CA, Pictures, Pictures. is currently in production on Be The Ball, a documentary feature examining the link between golf and the mind featuring Samuel L. Jackson, Jason Day, Deepak Chopra and others. In addition, Pictures, Pictures. is producing the original web series, "Adventures in Golf" currently airing on the PGA Tour's SkratchTV.


With this release also comes the announcement that pre-production stages of an Untitled Sia Documentary Project have begun, co-directed by Lang and his wife Sia. This project offers a never before seen look at the singer's life.


Pictures, Pictures. is operating with the guiding principle of making projects enjoyable to both watch and engage with in order to create an organic link between the content and their clients' goals. Erik Anders Lang is the Creative Director and co-Founder of Pictures, Pictures. Lang came to filmmaking from photography. Considered by David LaChapelle as his protégé, he moved seamlessly into making successful documentaries for Serato, Louis Vuitton, Hollister, The Guggenheim, Honda, MTV, Pharrell, Public Enemy and TED. Lang is also the on-screen host of "Adventures in Golf," currently airing on the PGA Tour's SkratchTV,


Ryland Aldrich is the President of Production and co-Founder of Pictures, Pictures. He brings his 10-years of film production and distribution experience having produced and helped distribute numerous feature motion pictures that have played theatrically and at film festivals such as Sundance, SXSW, and international festivals. Most recently, he produced the indie comedy, Folk Hero & Funny Guy, directed by Jeff Grace and starring Alex Karpovsky and Wyatt Russell.
