JOHN CHO and LENA DUNHAM TO STAR in REAGAN,
THE BLACK LIST’S NEXT LIVE READ, MARCH 5 IN HOLLYWOOD

LOS ANGELES, CA (February 15, 2016) - Just in time for primary season, the Black List has announced that John Cho and Lena Dunham will star in a live staged reading of Mike Rosolio’s 2015 Black List script REAGAN. The reading will take place at the Montalban Theater in Hollywood on March 5, 2016 at 8:00PM. Additional cast will be announced in the weeks leading up to the reading.

In Rosolio’s hilarious political satire, Ronald Reagan battles dementia at the start of his second term and an ambitious intern is tasked with convincing the commander in chief that he is an actor playing the president in a movie.

“The only more fascinating setting for fictional storytelling than the movies is politics, and Mike Rosolio's REAGAN combines the two,” said Black List founder Franklin Leonard. “Having just spent the last three days at the New Hampshire primary as a tourist and with Super Tuesday right on the horizon, I can assure you it's a great script at the perfect time.”

Said Rosolio, “I'm extremely honored and excited to be a part of this series. I’ve read REAGAN a thousand-plus times—aloud to myself; my neighbors are really understanding—but I’ve never gotten to hear it in voices that aren’t my own. And The Black List has assembled what’s basically an all-star team of readers. I can’t wait to see what the cast brings to these characters and this story. It’s going to be an incredible night.”

Rosolio will also direct the script reading.
